E200 Help required - Using Orange Backup

Hi folks,

I am currently using O2 pay as you go with the E200. I would like to apply the update that has been released but apparently to backup all of my contacts , messages etc I have to use the Orange Backup facility. Of course, this will not work since i can't register to use the damn thing since I am not using an orange SIM.

Is there any way around this?

Or should i buy an orange pay as you go sim and use that instead??
