Guest orangesp Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 Hold the 'Home' key down a couple of seconds and this menu pops up - which gives you quick access to GPRS :) and Bluetooth 8) options: 1 Disconnect GPRS 2 Detach GPRS 3 Bluetooth Hope this helps, Brian.
Guest Vector Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 known this for a while, hehe :) Still, maybe some newer members didn't
Guest Simon Desser Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 To be honest, this was "known" from the day the phone was released back in November, as there "was" no other way to disconnect GPRS with the original ROM :)
Guest orangesp Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 Well I've had a number of questions related to it - and thought it might help some people by mentioning it here at Modaco. As it didn't appear to be mentioned anywhere.
Guest evilminky Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 this menu is sometimes the only comeback from the phone locking up apart from battery being taken off, get into the menu then press it again for the homescreen then quick close.
Guest girlpantz Posted May 27, 2004 Report Posted May 27, 2004 I didn't know either... I've always wondered how to disconnect from GPRS.
Guest charlwillis Posted May 27, 2004 Report Posted May 27, 2004 I didn't know... but always wondered... Thanks!
