Mapopolis or Pocket Streets?

Considering purchasing one of these products. Would love to hear other users' views and/or experiences, especially those who have used both.

I've demo'd mapopolis, and love it so far. I'm aware mapopolis has wider map coverage other than just larger urban areas, at least here in the US.

I am an avid believer in the power of GPS in fact I rely on it heavily to find my customers here in the UK. I use TomTom 3 on iPAQ 3970.

On a recent software support trip to Detroit I was faced with being in a place that I am not familiar with without my trusty sidekick to guide me (I am only equipped for Western Europe Navigation) so I searched my extensive navsat resources for a solution which came in the form of Mapopolis a FREE application & some limited-life demo maps of any county in the US or country/city in Western Europe. The result of all this was that I was able to navigate around Detroit/ Madison Heights in my Rental Chevy Trail-Blazer without making one wrong turn from the airport to the doorstep of the hotel (this was actually on the map), from the hotel to site & various other places all the time with a clear route displayed on my PPC & voice instructions for every road change (it even re-routes & gets you back on track if you miss your turn) it was even aware of the infamous "Michigan-left".

I am now a fan of Mapopolis & intend to get the full US/Europe set. Comparing this with my limited experience of Pocket Streets there is no contest; the flexibility & speed of Mapopolis which will seamlessly stitch together your contiguous county map modules, routing, voice guidance & re-routing are things my copy of Pocket Streets just does not do. :)
