How about giving annual "MoDaco" awards to product

I'm a newbie here, but a definite enthusiast, and scour whatever info I can about news/info regarding smartphones. This site definitely seems to have the most info and traffic for Smartphones.

So here's a suggestion, albeit again from a newbie, but what about giving online polls to your readers during a specific timeframe (example 2 weeks) for software, hardware, etc, by category to see what your readers feel are the best products, and each year give "MoDaCo" awards or seal of approval to those products. That'd help alot of the more "uninitiated" in their overall product selection, and at same time, I'm sure the vendors would love the seal of approval. Score products on a 1-10 level, or best of, etc. What do you the site operators think?

Or am I crazy???? If I'm crazy, pleaseeeeeeeee don't flame me too badly! :)

I think its a cool idea. The Modaco community is definitly the best 'group of judges' you could posibly find for Smartphone software :)
