unlock the spv

unlocking spv...i am new here and hope i haven't raised a repeat subject!

i have tried to unlock my spv coz i have just got an upgrade (e200)

1. i tried to run the spv unlock dos file but the percentage stays at 0%(do I have to run this on XP as I have Win98.

2. I have also tried to decert it thru the orange developers site without any luck...........please help as I want to introduce someone else to this great phone!!

1, To SIM unlock the E200 you have to go to http://www.imei-check.co.uk/

otherwise you have to pay up your contract and get Orange to unlock it.

2, The Orange developers site http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/comdefq.aspx

is the place to get your phone decerted, what problems did you get?
