Software error?

Sinca almost 2 weeks i got a spv classic and its working pretty ok, it has more features then the nokia 6230 :wink: but i have a few problems :oops: , i cant figure out wich software i have, when ever i do a hardreset with the qtek software i dont get what i want, i want the phone back how anyone should get it when u buy it but i dont get it :evil:, i cant find nowhere on the phone where i back up any files and some minor things, i dont know if the software i use 1.50.9.1 is the latest or is there a new one already? On my active synch i can put almost anything in it, i found an update from the orange site but cant use it when i do it says my spv rom is corrupted or need a spv and beyond, what does that mean? :oops:, i hope anyone can help me out.

try upgrading it to orange 1.6 in canary mode...

for the back-ups, you can use sprite or all-locations back-up programs... it's already discussed here... can't give you some links 'cause i'm using mobile

Have you tried re downloading the ROM ?

I tried from orange.co.uk, have it but cant install it not even after a hard reset :cry: , went to the orange store and they told me that the i-mate update has corrupted my rom and they cant do nothing about it even if i still have my warranty.

How to put it back to normal? Can anyone help me? All i know that the i mate sofware has corrupted my spv :evil: instead that the i mate software helps me and the spv it became an inmate :wink: who wont come out even if i want it to get out :roll: , is there anyone who can help me or do i need a new spv :)
