E200 Flight mode stuck pls pls help

Anyone that can help with this deserves a HUUUGE beer

I have a UK Orange E200 which I have de-certed for s/w...

I was playing an mp3 using beta player when it suddenly stopped & hung... I tried turning it off but it hung so I took the battery out :oops:

When I turned the fone back on its stuck on flight mode with a profile of headset - no matter what I do I cant get it reset.... even a hard reset is not working because all programs I try come back with an error saying that the program does not have a recognised certificate...

Orange helpdesk as worse than useless at helping me.... & I really reeally need this fone ready for tomorrow as I am travelling...

Also - I cant activesync.... my lappy comes back un with recognized h/w using USB..... :roll:

Any thoughts before I drop kick the fone outta the window ?

Also I've got an old Orange SPV @ home - I guess if the worse comes I can use my SIM card in my old fone for the w/e ?

I've booted down & then held the record & power button on to get to the smartphone red/green/blue stripe pages.... can I do anything for a hard reset from this ?

please forgive me if my questions are stupid but panicking a touch coz I think I've fecked up my fone & I need it back asap.... :cry:

Cheers guys but still at a loss....

I've tried the hold record/power buttons & get the white screen asking to press any key to get the bootloader.... however then all I get is the tri colour smartphone v1.07.02 doc screen with serial noted at the bottom.... pls what do I do next ??

after the phone has turned,when you press voice record and power button, on and you get the white screen,

hold down the joystick and you should enter a menu :)

soz fella.... just keeps jumping direct to the triband coloured screen - I get no menu.... :cry:

Make sure you have an SD Card in and as soon as the white screen comes up hold down the joystick for 2 secs...

This seems to have fixed my phone for me aswell. Just to re-iterate someones previous comment... Orange helpdesk are useless
