Guest romica Posted May 28, 2004 Report Posted May 28, 2004 HI.I'm new with this so please help me. I have a spv and I need to unlock it. It has bootloader MV, version 1.10, and canary dialog V0.97.This version can be unlocked whith spvunlock, or need to be downgraded?
Guest Vector Posted May 28, 2004 Report Posted May 28, 2004 What ROM Version do you have and what operator? Take a look in Programs>Settings>About and post the versions here :)
Guest romica Posted May 28, 2004 Report Posted May 28, 2004 I am from Romania and I can use only a non orange sim card so I can't get to the programs.Only thing that I can see is the part that ask me for unlock code. When I open the phone in canary mode, the tree colour screen apers with the canary MV v1.10. and when I get to the canary dialog it says version 0.97 and there is only option 8 -erase IPSM. I know that is a way to downgrading to the rom 0.98 using Winhex, I read topics from modaco, but something is going wrong because I don't have a card reader and I tried to make a rom image to the CD card using a digital camera and I don't know if the rom image it was created. How can I see if the rom image was created to my card, because when I put the CD card in the phone and open it in canary mode don't ask me to load the new bootloader. The questions are : 1)This version of bootloader(I can't figure what version it is) can be downgraded to the 0.93., 0.98 ? 2)Can I use a digital camera instead of a card reader? 3) How can I know if the rom image was created to the cd card( maybe someone can tell me in detail how to use Winhex) ? Thank you in advance and please exuse my bad english and my ignorance.
