Guest buyaqoob Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 I updated my rom today, everything went fine. It said that the upgrade was successful and asked me to remove the battery and the normal stuff. But when I put the battery back it won't switch on, i think I killed it. Can anyone help me please
Guest squall Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 how far do you get on booting? If you get no responce to the on button try putting the phone on charge. If you get stuck on the sunset screen rerun the update from the bootloader
Guest buyaqoob Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 It doesn't boot at all. Even if i connect it to the charger there is no response at all, not even the service light. Is there any way I can get the canary screen.
Guest Will Posted May 29, 2004 Report Posted May 29, 2004 please post ONLY in this thread, (i've locked your other 2 posts). try removing battery for approx 2 hours, then without turning on phone, plug into MAINS charger (not usb) for another 2 hours. then while still plugged into charger, try to turn on.. if that don't work, post back in this thread! Will
Guest buyaqoob Posted May 30, 2004 Report Posted May 30, 2004 I did as you said, still having the same problem. I just can't turn the phone on..
Guest mattat Posted May 30, 2004 Report Posted May 30, 2004 I don't know how much help this will be to you but this thread has some details about how to revive a dead E100 which won't power on. The only problem is you'll need to find someone with a suitable phone. http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=108346 It's about three quarters of the way down the page
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 Which ROM did you use as these are the symptoms of the cooked ROM that is still available from a french smartphone site.
