Thank you for your assistance in advance. I'm trying to connect my laptop to an ISP through my AT&T wireless motorola mpx200. What settings do I need to have on XP laptop and mpx200 phone? I already have been successful setting up mpx200 as GPRS modem to laptop, so I have drivers, etc installed.

EDIT: I believe I have all the correct settings, but I keep getting a 678 error. I've made sure call waiting is disabled, tried 3 commas after phone number, pre & post terminal windows, tried to connect and 9600 and 19,200, all without success. Any more suggestions?

Not sure what your question is as you say that you're trying to set it up as a modem for your laptop, then the next part of the question says you have been successful in doing so...

The driver and guide are here if it helps.

Does this answer your question?

1. I have been able to use the mpx200 as a modem to connect my laptop to internet via GPRS, which is part of my wireless contract.

2. I'm trying to figure out how to use the mpx200 as a modem to connect my laptop to internet via ISP (AOL, Earthlink, etc.), which is entirely different.

In other words, I need assistance on #2.

If it's the AT&T network then I don't think you can't dialup to an ISP. AFAIK they have disabled the data service on their GSM network (except WAP dialup) forcing you to use GPRS :)
