New E200, anyone else have the same problem

I have recently upgraded to an E200 rom 2.6.1.3 and I am having terrible trouble with the cradle or using a sync cable.

I put the phone in the cradle, the indicator shows that power is being supplied to the phone but nothing happens or my machine says that there is a problem with your USB device.

I have to remove and reinsert the phone in the cradle a few times to get it to connect and when it does finally connect the slightest movement of the table breaks the connection and I have to start over again.

I have tried the cradle on my machine at work and the same thing happens and I get the same results with an E200 sync/charge cable.

Does anyone else have the same problem, is this a common fault with the E200 or have I got a duff un :?:

well it sounds like the phone isn't making the connection properly through the universal connector. I think the bottom of the phone has got damaged somehow or its just a duff one. I have an E200 and haven't had a problem like that at all.

I have the same problem too, though mine never used to do it. It's only started to happen since I've bought a leather case for mine (Krussell). The moment I take the case off and put the phone into the cradle, it's fine. With the case on it sometimes connects and sometimes doesn't. The fitting for the phone cradle doesn't really allow for my leather case.

Just wanted to point that out 'cos it had me foxed for a bit until I realised the case was the cause for me.

i have had this happen. When the phone is in the cradle it stops looking for it, as soon as i take it out, it starts looking!

Normal service is resumed if i switch off the phone and turn it back on. Weird

Ive got a Krussell case as well, but with the case on it never connects to Activesync and with the case off I get the problems mentioned earlier.

My old E100 worked perfectley, no porbs at all :!:
