anyway to make the ringtones/mediaplayer files play louder

all the settings are on loud earphone volume is also high and media player is high but still i can barly here the music or ringtones, the v600 sounds play way higher then the 8390, why is that? is there anyway to tweak it to play louder, the speaker is not even distored or anything so i think the speaker can handle higher noise
