Guest great Posted May 30, 2004 Report Posted May 30, 2004 i had more than 50% phsy. memory available and now i have 30% (from SP task manager display). Where is my physical memory going and how i get it back. I can understand this if you run applications and proceces but i don't have anything on the backround since i use SP task manager to kill them all. i've tried the storagewindowsappmanagerinstall folder but its empty I see some subfolder in the appmanager from programas i don't longer have (unistalled them) and when i try to delete them i get permission denied. How can i save as much physical memory as possible ? thank you
Guest Vector Posted May 30, 2004 Report Posted May 30, 2004 hmm, what applications have you installed recently?
Guest great Posted May 30, 2004 Report Posted May 30, 2004 not much, i actually installing games and uninstalling cause i don't like them. Still we are talking about phsy. memory and not storage, so its basic what is running on the phone...am i wrong ? what about the folders a said in the appmanager folder ?
Guest Vector Posted May 30, 2004 Report Posted May 30, 2004 the Physical memory is pretty much the same as the memory in a PC :) Have you installed anythin that would run in the background like a caller ID etc.? Not sure about the appmanager folder, shouldn't be that tho :?
