My New E200

I have managed to own 8, yes 8 SPV's (original) in one year, and the other day I upgraded my phone to the SPV E200 :) and within 24 hours of acquiring my new phone I managed to kill it, doing the upgrade, mind you this was quiet a task considering I wasn't at home for the first 20 hours of owning the phone and so no syncing was done. Below are some pictures of why the upgrade was needed in the first place I just hope the SPV E200 will hold up better. :cry:

My brother has wanted these pic's put on MoDaCo seeing as he has an SPV as well (original) and has managed to last with one for nearly 18 months and I did this to my 8th in a couple of months. :roll:.

I killed the E200 by just running the updater to 2.4 UK, and I apparently according to orange killed the phone totally, due to the error code I was getting when trying to update it so there went the 1st SPV E200 within 24 hours.

As for the more serious damage to the old SPV, First of all the screen became lose just through use (not to kind use all be it) and I glued that back on but that isn't too noticeable on the photos then for the real damage my mate dropped it at a night club which broke the bottom off the case and then to give the bottom some protection from the out side world I put the plaster on, the buttons then stuck to the plaster and when I removed the plaster to show a friend the damage the *, #, 0 and 8 button all came off and then I all those bar the 8 and *. Although this damage opened up a new feature to the phone 'X-Press on' covers I can totally remove the front panel of the phone without any screws being undone just pull at the top and bottom so thats quiet cool.

One thing that still shocks me, that poor SPV still runs as well as it did the day I bought it (except some buttons are harder to press) which goes to show how much damage an SPV can take and still work. :)

I do Hope this 2nd SPV E200 will last a little longer. :wink:
