Guest Simon Desser Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 Version 2.0 of the wonderful Smart Explorer from Binarys, has today been released in a final version. The previous Beta version has now expired. Congratulations and a big thank you to Jacoch and Binarys for all their hard work and excellent applications :) Smart Explorer let you manage the files and folder on your phone. Using an original system, you can do operation such as cut-copy-past on several files/folders at a time. You can also search for a file or folder, send a file by email, via infrared or bluetooth. Version expiration This final version does not expire any more. Expiration has been added to beta versions only. We wanted to be sure that users does not continue using a beta that contains major bugs, as it happened in the past. Upgrade to 2.0 The upgrade to version 2.0 is free for all users of version 1.0. Guest Simon Desser Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 There seems to be a little bug with this new version :) I keep getting the "nag screen" even though it's already registered, and it won't let me re-enter my code? Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest jacoch Posted May 31, 2004 Report Posted May 31, 2004 There seems to be a little bug with this new version :) I keep getting the "nag screen" even though it's already registered, and it won't let me re-enter my code? Posted from my SmartPhone! A new version 2.0.2 has been posted today. It fixes a problem with registration screen. With some languages, translated dialog was too big and the serial field was either truncated or hidden. This version also fixes a problem with SD card. Smart Explorer now dynamically shows or hides the storage card in the root. When inserted, the card was always named Storage Card instead of using its real name. Problem fixed. We apologize for the multiple versions that came out today. It's two bugs that we didn't notice during final testing. Hope it won't happen again in the future.
