Guest mike-oh Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 I'm fed up of hearing all this fuss about the top 20 annoying ludicrously expensive beeps! Do these fools think their phone is "cool" because they've spent anywhere up to £3 for a series of beeps that more closely recommends morse code than any pop song! Especially when any smartphone can play the tune in all its glory for absolutely free!! Anyone else share my opinion? Mike
Guest Vector Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 they are annoying, there have been more ads around on TV recently, and the worst thing is, they play the tones (which are just beeps) in the background arrrggghhh! ](*,)
Guest mike-oh Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 Oh yeah i forgot to mention the adverts! That stupidly extatic bint who says "send 'I'm a F***in dumb ass' and your name to ***** and recieve this really sh**ty lookin wall paper or naff sounding ring tone for only £15!!" (or something along those lines) AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhh!!
Guest scott2eyes Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 I remember when I first saw an Ericsson phone which let you compose your own ringtone and then, being a moderately musical kind of guy, spent half a day programming in tunes like Blue Monday and playing "name that tune"... Someone said that people would pay for you to do that kind of thing to their phones, and I just laughed at them. "Nobody would pay money for this kind of thing..."
Guest Disco Stu Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 I'm thinking of becoming the first DJ to use 2 phones instead of twin-Technics :) Got to be more musical than Happy Hardcore
Guest nvkid909 Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 :? hmmm, that must be possible... laptop, ir or bluetooth... pick your tunes straight out the air from an ftp?? point & shoot!! wonder if club light fx would interfere with ir?
Guest Disco Stu Posted June 16, 2004 Report Posted June 16, 2004 I was thinking that the ringtones would be on the 2 phones already. It was a joke, but then I've got mates (and Moby does it) who play out with MP3s so it can't be far off :!:
Guest mischievous Posted June 18, 2004 Report Posted June 18, 2004 P.T. Barnum said "there's a fool born every minute." Look around, you'll see plenty. Oh, dam there goes my "hey ya" ring tone.
