Guest abejan Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 Hi, I've been looking around for an RDP client for some time now. Something like this doesn't seem to exist, though. The only ones I've found are either VNC-based solutions (slow, inaccurate) or they require special software running on the host. During my search I found this RDP client source code at http://rdesktop.sourceforge.net. I wonder if this would be hard to port to the SP ? I've only got little knowledge of C++, and I just wanted to hear if someone has an opinion on this...
Guest djfuego Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 If you are talking about controling your computer with your Smartphone there was a smartphone version of Ultra VNC. the Windows version is on Sourceforge.net and VNC for the phone is on monolithix.org You are going to need a client on the machine you want to control in either case becasue not everyone runs XP. and VNC is better than you think when it comes to cross platform compatibility.
