Guest Posted June 1, 2004 Report Posted June 1, 2004 Hi all I checked my Yahoo e-mail earlier on my SPV E200 using Yahoo's POP3 settings and then deleted the messages on the phone as I'd read the ones I'd wanted to read, and the large e-mails I thought I'd read properly when I got home. I'm now at home and to my dismay my mailbox is empty, it seems deleting the messages from my phone has sent a command back to my Yahoo Inbox to delete the messages it contains. I also use POP3 to access the same e-mail via Outlook at home and it has an option to leave a copy of the message on the server, I guess the phone doesn't have such option? It's really annoyed me as I had about 8 messages in my Inbox, 4 I wanted to keep (3 luckily I can remember what they said, just and the other I can only remember who sent it, so I've had to ask them to re-send it) and the rest I would like to have read properly. Any ideas how to stop this from happening again in the future. :x :x :x EDIT: It seems like the Inbox on ActiveSync, the simple rule is - DO NOT DELETE E-MAILS FROM YOUR INBOX!
