Guest maromacs Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 hi all, I have an SPV E200 since december and 2 weeks ago i did an dutch update. First i did it on my moms PC, but because of firewall it didn't update, a day later i did it on my work from bootloader because i couldn't start my phone. During the two weeks my phone did work (my feeling said not 100% properly) and since yesterday my phone starts up so slooooooooowwwwwww and programs didn't respond, first i thought it was the phone but later i found out it was my 256 SD card. Just before mine card got scr%#@$&êd, i saw via smart explorer that some filenames had been changed, for example: "programs" became " ,." and other files practically the same. Does anyone know what happened?? And most important, how do i fix my card (i hope it's possible), because there are a lot of important things on it. I hope to hear from you. Kind regards, Maro1
Guest Vector Posted June 2, 2004 Report Posted June 2, 2004 Maybe your SD Card needs a format? You can do this on the phone with Task Manager or if you have a card reader you can do it from the PC :) Beware tho as formatting the SD Card will wipe all data off it...:!:
Guest maromacs Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 Tnx for the reply. Unfortunately i cannot do anything with my card, it's not empty because in my sandisk cruzer (card reader) i can see that i still have 46mb free space, but i can't see any files. No options to reformat my card. I think i can throw my card away :) Maro1
Guest Vector Posted June 3, 2004 Report Posted June 3, 2004 No, Put the SD Card into the Card reader, and when it's recognised it open "My Computer", there should be an icon for the card reader, right click that and choose "format", that should format it :)
