help with customizing e200 (new qteck rom) start menu

after installing the new qteck i have tried clearing the default start menu and replacing with my old short cuts, as i have done many a time before after a hard reset, but i get check permissions, insufficient memory etc message what can i do ?

I haven't heard of this before maybe its a problem with the new rom. Try using jeyo personalizer, that can edit some things in the start menu. Maybe also worth decerting to see if thats the problem. see here http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=97152

im having the same problem here but ive just received my new e200 from orange, and getting the same memory errors etc

how do you decert the e200 as the link you have gave was for a mpx200

You do not need to decert anything.

For customizing your start menu just use the rom's file manager.You cannot use smart explorer or explorer via activesync

In start menu inside folder system.....

I do not remember its name,because i have changed all the folder names

im afraid on my phone there is no such link, and looking in the windows folder i carnt see any obviouse explorer or fileman .exe files

any ideas?

In my start menu there is a shortcut: File Manager.lnk and in Windows , there is a File_manager.lnk

I use qtek 1.7.10.4 greek version
