t-mobile GPRS bundles on PAYG?

Is this how I read it on t-mobiles' site?

Can you have a monthly bundle of GPRS data allowance added to a PAYG account, as long as each month you have put enough credit on your account to pay for the bundle?

http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/Dispatcher?menuid=allowances

If this is possible, then it seems like it will be better value for me than Oranges' PAYG.

(would have to get my original spv unlocked though)

Or am I completely wrong, and the 'allowance' mentioned is only for text and media messages?

Can you not try O2's payg Talkalot?

They have all sorts of bundle/packages along with 300 (I think) texts and 300mins of free WAP if you credit £10 each month :)

I've just had another look at O2's site:

£10 minimum monthly top-up

300 free text.

the price for GPRS is set at £0.00

It seems to good to be true, that there is no charge for GPRS

however, when I look at the second page for the sim free option...

NOTE: Extras are only available with Pay Monthly tariffs

Extras can include the ability to receive discounts on calls and text when roaming, discounts when making international calls and sending texts to international numbers when in the UK, and discounts on Mobile Web access.

So what are the charges?

O2's GPRS is free until June 10th as I've heard so far :)

It looks like i'll have to stay with orange PAYG

I don't make many voice calls, 2 short calls a month max

a few text (under 20) per month

and a lot of data usage

I'm currently spending £10 per month, but that is mainly data which is £4 per mb

any way of getting cheaper GPRS web+email access.

I'd gladly go 'Pay Monthly' but I would not use the voice minutes that you get.

My Ideal access would be voice calls and text on a pay as you consume basis, and pay a monthly fee for GPRS access.
