Guest shadamehr Posted June 5, 2004 Report Posted June 5, 2004 Hi all, and awarner, thanks for the advice... What I need to do, ASAP, is work out how I change the Voicemail number on an E200, form Orange to O2. It seems that the E200 is the only device, signature device or not, where the voicemail number is locked into the phone??? I cannot find any where or way to change it. I have, on the off chance, downloaded PHM Regedit, and searched the registry for the current Orange number, but every time I try this, it hangs after a while. So how the hell do I change, by hook or by crook, or even something so easy I am missing it perhaps, the Voicemail number, so that key 1 dials 901 instead of the usual Orange +447973100123 ANYONE???
Guest shadamehr Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 Try Settings->Phone->Call Options Mmmm - It seems that the phone retrieves the correct number for the voicemail from the network, in the settings you mention, but that the Orange number is hardcoded to the speed dial 1 key? I'll play around and see. Cheers
Guest badboy4life Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 I remember seeing a entry in the registry somewhere which contained the voicedial numbers, think it had three different entries. Don't have my phone at the moment so can't find it but hope that helps.
