Get rid of orange!!!!!!!!!

Hi, hope i dont sound 2 dump!!! But i beleive my phone would run faster without all this orange stuff in it (its a spv by the way) how i see it is that its like if you buy a dell pc comes with loads of dell cr*p on it which in the end slows down a decent pc. But is there anyway to format your phone ie et rid of the rom and loads a M$ only version of SP2002????

You're absolutely correct, and yes there is a way- do a Hard Reset. That sets your phone to a "factory fresh" state. (Click on the words Hard Reset to see how to do it.)

I'm afraid a Hard reset will just reload (if that's a good word) the ROM back. The Orange ROM that is.

indeed, but to be honest, the Orange stuff doesnt slow the phone down, as there really isnt that much Orange only stuff on the phone anyway (couple of basic homescreens, Orange backup and Orange Update)

Well, there's the MMS software and the photo ID thing (isn't that already installed on there as standard?)

When I had to hard reset my MPx200, it got rid of some stuff that I since felt no need to re-install.

thats only on the mpx200 not the spv, and i beleive thats a motorola thing rather than an Orange thing.
