Guest zeta101 Posted June 6, 2004 Report Posted June 6, 2004 Could someone with experience give me an idea of what traffic would be like on the M25 going from junc 16 to 12 (ie the bit connecting the M40 to the M3) at about 8:30ish on a thursday (if it matters lol) night, ive been told it will gridlock(ish) which i find hard to believe at that time of night! lol how long would be it take approx? thanks!
Guest siu99spj Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 Well, last Thursday it was practically deserted (Half-Term), but most Thursdays its pretty solid. I know from bitter experience, particularly Thursdays coincidentally.
Guest Dr_StrangeTrick Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 Dont know if this helps. But I go to see customers round the M25 quite often and they all say that its busy all the time (day and night) Good luck pal
Guest Brody Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 Yeah, at 8:30 you'll need to be lucky but normally by that time its busy but moving fairly well as the rush hour traffic has mostly gone... Ps. Mind the 40MPH traffic cameras on the roadworks at the moment, i've seen them go off A LOT!
Guest zeta101 Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 me and mates have decided not to risk it, we dont really have to touch the m25...thanks for the comments :D
Guest dc4460 Posted June 9, 2004 Report Posted June 9, 2004 You cant chance it sometimes. When I travel down from Birmingham I use the orange 177 voice media travel service as I approach the M25, other networks should have there own travel service. That way If its busy you can always get off before the M25 and cut through Windsor and past Legoland and then rejoin the M25..... Good luck
