Guest jo12 Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 help, how do you connect the bluetooth headset to the phone. I have gone thru orange and they could not do it either. Now if that is the case, what chance do we mortals have, they tried every headset and none of them would work, so can you tell me how to do it, or i take the phone back
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 Which phone are you refering to? if it's the nokia 6600 mentioned in your other post then I have no idea as this is not a symbian site I'm afraid.
Guest Will Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 can you let us know a couple of bits of info, what make and model of headset is it, and when did you obtain your e200, and have you run an update on it? Will
Guest jo12 Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 the spv has the update in it, i went into the orange shop and had them play around with it, i also phoned orange and they did the same. They tried every headset and not one would connect, so it does not matter which one it is. The problem i have is that i have the spv e200 and the nokia 6600 on contract, i have to take one of them back within two weeks, i have had a e200 for some time but never used or had need to use the headset. Now that i need one i find that i must go with the 6600, which is where the conflict starts. The 6600 does not mach up the e200, and i mean that in a big way, but if i have to go for bluetooth then i might have no choice, it will have to be the 6600 . HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Will Posted June 7, 2004 Report Posted June 7, 2004 could they get any e200's in the shop to pair, i could run thru 101 checks, is bluetooth turned on, did they get as far as asking for the pin number? did they try the plantronics? mine syncs to the m3000, just need to add new device while the headset is in discoverable mode. Will
Guest jo12 Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 now there is a strange thing, the headset that you are talking about was the one that orange ( shop and customer services) tried and would not work, please tell me that you have no bother with the headset, this would save my life, i do not want to part with my e200
Guest Will Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 it pairs but sometimes i get wierdness, such as the headset turns off, and sometimes need to reboot to get it working again... but it pairs happily 90% of the time. Will
