Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 Home screen images need to be placed in IPSMApplication DataHome For themes you need to place the hme file in IPSMWindowsStart MenuAccessories then on the phone go to ProgramsAccessories and the homescreen will be there ready to be installed. As for removing old themes, is you go to ProgramsSettingsRemove Programs any themes you have previously installed should be there.
Guest naeem1226 Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 Im using the microsoft theme generator and it created the hme files, i just wanna know if there is a cache of the file names that i can clear so i can use those file names over. The above said homescreens dont appear in the remove programs either on the phone or on activesync on my computer. . naeem
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 8, 2004 Report Posted June 8, 2004 The files inquestion are in IPSMApplication DataHome As the theme is in .hme format they will have to be installed to work.
