Software CD for MPx200

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can get a copy of the original software cd that comes with the MPx200. I didn't get one with my phone.

Where did you get your phone ? You can download most of the standard program software on the motorola site. Is there something special that your looking for on the CD ? Most wireless companies make up their own to go with the services they offer. Like the one from AT&T is different (Has M-Mode on it along with the basic software) than the ones from other wireless companies across the globe.

You should have recieved one when you bought your phone,

best bet it to ask your network provider for a copy and

explain yours was missing.

Hi,

I can't ask my provider for a disk because I live in the Bahamas. I bought the phone online from the US and it didn't come with a software disk.

The Motorola site can only be used to download software directly to the phone - so that is not possible for me.

Any other suggestions would be great.

The only other thing you can do is ask motorola directly

otherwise you could try ebay as they sometimes appear there.

The only thing you need from the cd is Outlook which needs to

be registered other apps like Activsync can be downloaded

from microsofts own site.

what happens if my outlook version is XP? should i even bother downloading the software to my phone?

You only need Activsync

Their is a second CD from motorola which has a few games and a motorola task manager. I dont know if you can buy it over their, I won it at www.hellomoto.co.za

That sounds like the standard cd that comes with the Orange phones.
