help with pocketdivxencoder.03 please

Hi,

I just got pocketdivxencoder.03 and i have recently installed the latest version of directx (9b i think) Whenever i try and convert a .mpg to a .avi so i can play it in betaplayer it displays

VitualDub error

Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'DX50'(unknown)

then says the task is complete but there is not encoded file.

I would very much appricate if someone could help me with this problem,

Have you got the Divx codec installed?,if not get it from http://www.divx.com :D
