No coverage after Hard reset

Hi, i just made a hard reset to my SPV, but since i had also had my pc formated, i didnt have the chance to insert/replace the file i was suppose to replcae in the windows directory of the smart phone.

now, my phone turns on, it dose not ask for an unlock code, but i dont see any coverage, i though tge radio was off, i checked and its on, so now i can browse the phone and use the initial apps but i cant make calls.

can anyone help.

Is line 2 selected by mistake instead of the usual line 1??

i would suggest another Hard Reset.. or try and insatll a ROM update.

not sure what you mean by that? what were you trying to do?

i checked and made sure that line 1 is selected.

as for the replacment of the file. what i had done was a hard reset and i thought replcaing that file was required for app unlock.

replacing hte file to app unlock is long since outdated. its now done via orange - click on OTA.

As regards the no signal problem try reinstalling the 1.6 update. That has fixed this problem for me before

Ian, thanks for your advics, but i got my phones used, second hand, and i am in the middle east, so am not sure if i can obtain anything from orange.

as for the 1.6 update, do u know were exactly i can find that.

And you can do the OTA decert from abroad if you have phone in cradle with pass through internet i belive.
