Orange problems following upgrade & new sim registration

Hello all,

On Monday 7th June I received my free SPV E200 on Orange upgrade. It came with a new SIM and I had to call Orange and register it. Did this OK and they sent an SMS after a few hours.

The phone worked OK all through Tuesday 8th.

On Wednesday 9th - all I could get was 'Searching' for the network and after a while 'Denied..Searching'

I called Orange today and was told that there had been a system problem which had affected SIMS registered on Monday and Tuesday - and because of this all those SIMS were having to be re registered as the original registrations had been lost (by the system problem) - I was told to sit tight and eventually things would catch up and I would be reregistered. Well it is Thursday evening and I am still waiting. Has anyone else encountered this problem this week - and been told the same thing?

Do they still have your dertails to re-enter ito the system?

I'd suggest phoning them up, and ask that they do it now if the system is working.
