Can't load programs

Hi,

My MPX200 will not allow me to download any programs. The white install screen on the phone only displays for a second and then it disappears. Anyone had similar problems, or any ideas how to fix???

Are you trying to download them directly from the internet to your phone ?

This is not usually possible, though you will soon learn the ins-and-outs.

It's always better to download to your PC first and go from there.

If you're installing from cabs or exe installers and getting this, it may be that you've tried to install something dodgy (eg: Pocket PC software).

In which case, using ActiveSync, click on Explore and go to IPSM Windows AppMgr Install and delete anything in there.

Failed installations dump files in there and prevent you installing anything else. All other folders in AppMgr are uninstall info for things you have on your phone - leave them there.

If you haven't application unlocked your phone, click on -> OTA
