Hi :D

right then,,my problem is..

i have set up my email account on my phone (e200) its the orange account [email protected] etc etc etc

it sends my mail no problem,,,but when its recieving mail it says at the top of the screen recieving 1 of 5 recieving 2 0f 5 etc etc etc.. and as its recieving the mails i can see them appearing on my phone screen so i know that the settings are obviously correct..but as soon as its finished recieving the emails and it discconects from the email server ALL of the emails from my inbox just mysteriously dissapear :cry: :cry:

any ideas?? i have tried all available settings. IE: download header only/500 bytes/1000 bytes/5000bytes and they all download the mail ok but as soon as the phone has recieved the last mail and disconnected from the server ..they ALL dissapear :cry:

I've never heard of this problem before :?

Couple of things first of all;

1, Is your phone connected to the pc at the time you recieve your mail?

2, what is the memory status like on your phone?

I have the same problem, in fact its a real pain as I know I have an email but I cant access it. Have to go to the Orange site via GPRS and access it that way. It works ok on my original SPV, but not on the E200. No idea why.

Easiest way to set up an Orange email account on the phone is to go to their website. The Your (My ?) Phone pages have a Set Up section that covers email, GPRS, WAP etc

there are no attachments. While the phone logs on to orange you can see the headers being downloaded as they appear on the screen. It even states that 1 of 1 received. When it disconnects, the headers disappear! Therefore the email cant be downloaded. Works find on original spv. Wonder if this bug is on the c500
