Guest nickmclaren Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 and here is the error message it comes up with unable to connect. verify you have network coverage and try again well by network coverage, if it means do i have signal, then yes, at home i nearly always have 3 bars of signal, now surely that is enough. any suggestions?
Guest martin Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 Firstly you should have a top centre G displayed on the phone which confirms that GPRS is enabled and that you are attached to network. If you get unable to connect then you may have the wrong Access Point Name in the GPRS connection settings. The APN's are different for contract and prepaid. Have a look in the GPRS settings repository (page2) for the settings :D
