E200 bluetooth headset problem with Motorola HS-810

I have an SPV E200 and just bought a Motorola HS-810 bluetooth headset

I paired the devices no problem but I have an issue answering incoming calls. When the headset it open, and the phone rings I just press the button on the headset and it answers fine, voice quality is superb.

However when the headset is closed, and the phone rings, I can't use the headset, it neither answers the call when I open it ir when I press the button, when I answer the call on the phone, I still can't get it to work i just have to use the phone as normal.

I have tested the headet with a nokia phone and it works fine.

How can I get it to work so the boom is closed like you are supposed to, or do I have to constantly have the headset open all the time?
