it says smart phone v1.07.02 doc when i tried upgrading it, but now active sync wont talk to the phone after reloading software and checking the obvious, looked all over the net and come to the conclusion that it needs unlocking, has any one got the unlock software as i cant do it on any sites as its not been used on the net, plus i done the hardset with power and mic buttons pressed at same time then press joystik and after 50 times trying it sometimes comes up with the grey screen and i do option 8 but it says recover *** and wen pressed it goes to the red green and blue bands, the futures bright the futures orange, yea right, gr8 the battery lasts hardly a day as well! some one help a fed up uk guy cheers

Are you trying to say that you can't get past the three colour screen?

If so run the update again by leaving the phone in hat screen, plugging it into the cradle, and running the update :D
