It says on the page that you should change the settings:

1. *Note: Turn on PocketTV, go to the main menu but don't open any files

2. go『Menu』╲『9 More』╲『5 Size』, the default setting is 1 Nominal(fast), change it to 2 Reduce if too large or 3 Fit Screen

3. Go back to the main menu, open a file and play it

I haven't tried it myself, cause I think using Betaplayer makes no difference at all. The only extra step you have to do is to encode the MPEG file into an AVI file which extremely easy using

"PocketDivXEncoder_0.3.40a"

Using the PocketDivXEncoder_0.3.40a you can convert almost every type of file into AVI which Betaplyer supports except RM

And to convert RM just use "Real7ime Converter", it is free and easy to use. *When using Real7ime Converter, set the encoder setting to DivX then after that you will come up with a large AVI file. To make it small and nice just use the "PocketDivXEncoder_0.3.40a" to do so. Therefore, all you need to converting almost every video file to make it work with Betaplayer is just "PocketDivXEncoder_0.3.40a" and "Real7ime Comverter"

Pheww! I am tired of typing! Hope the information above helps!

P.S. I also checked out the reply from the users on that forum. They mentioned that changing the setting does make PocketTV work but Fullscreen is not avalible..... but hey, just a few steps and any video you like will be rocking on your Mio using Betaplayer, so why bother using PocketTV till GAPI is fixed, right?

1. GAPI issues solved :D

2. I wouldn't use anything else than BetaPlayer :D It's the fastest one there is, can play high quality high bitrate videos, like 500kbps video with 64kbps 44KHz audio, not just 80kbps crap like some older players designed for WM2002.
