Guest Sharky Posted June 20, 2004 Report Posted June 20, 2004 Hi all, I have a problem with Orange in that I cancelled my contract well over a month ago and they still believe in sending me another bill for a full months contract. :D Needless to say I am not happy and have now cancelled my Direct Debit for payments. Can anyone please tell me a postal address for Orange customer services so that I may write to them and express my grievances. I have been on their website and searched through my previous bills for their customer services contact address but to no avail. They also do not accept email queries as they will not answer them. The only other means of contact is via their 150 number,(which isn't much good when the person on the other end ignores what you are saying and just keeps saying "Right Sir we will put your months notice through today !) Thanks in advance Mark
Guest mcwarre Posted June 20, 2004 Report Posted June 20, 2004 Hi, Try: Orange Correspondance Department PO Box 10 Patchway Bristol BS32 4BQ
Guest ajb3000 Posted June 20, 2004 Report Posted June 20, 2004 I had a similar problem to this, in that I requested my tariff changed and was told it wouldn't happen til my next billing date (3 weeks away). My main reason for doing this was to get the e200 for free (as my spv was knackered). Anyway 3 weeks went, rang up, and was told it would cost £100 to upgrade, I was like WTF, and found out my tariff had not been changed. Anyway, no matter how much I complained, moaned, even shouted at one point, the guy refused to admit it was their fault, he even called me a liar saying I did not request my tariff to be changed and that I hadn't even rung Customer Services for the past few months. He flat out refused to put me through to a supervisor, and refused to budge in any way shape or form, saying the only thing he could do was put a request through now and i'd have to wait another 4 weeks before my tariff changed and I could upgrade for free. F*cking great customer service orange, you certainly know how to make your customers happy.
Guest Sharky Posted June 20, 2004 Report Posted June 20, 2004 Thanks for the address mcwarre. I will write to them and see where I get ! :D AJB3000 - that is exactly what happened to me. They refused to even listen and just kept repeating that they would put my request to cancel in that day. (Hmm Brick and wall comes to mind :D ) I have already cancelled my d/d and have written a letter hoping to resolve the situation Thanks Mark
Guest LSmith4285 Posted June 20, 2004 Report Posted June 20, 2004 You know canceling your DD could affect your credit rating if Orange don't resolve the issue quickly and pass the debt to an debt collection agency.......
Guest Sharky Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 It doesn't matter anymore as before I sent the letter off I managed to find the address for the Executive office :D They received my letter this morning and a very helpful person rang me, sorted everything out (actually believed what I was saying !) and promised to credit back the months charges and all I had to pay for was the calls that I had incurred !! RESULT !! 8) Mark
