Guest lanrover Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Found an url that allows you to certify and de-certify your phone if it is from Orange The url is http://developer.orangews.com/orangespv/comdefq.aspx I have had to do this to install non-certified apps. I have an Orange E200 on T-Mobile.
Guest blewer Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Link doesn't work! Could just click on OTA

Guest [email protected] Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 Help me ! I'm unable to application unlock/decertify my Orange SPV E200. I've tried the OTA process which always provides the "Success" feedback yet does not let me install uncertified apps. I've scoured the threads and not found anything that works. Any ideas out there, am getting frustrated as I paid for Mapopolis maps and after having to hard reset my phone the lock is stuck  Please please please help me! -Jase.
Guest Disco Stu Posted July 7, 2004 Report Posted July 7, 2004 Welcome to the site :D Did you connect your phone to the internet first - Orange World will do ? Did you get the confirmation screen on your phone ? If so, it should unlock.
Guest [email protected] Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 Hi & thanks for your response. Yes it has been connected to the internet, I did get the confirmation screen within IE however I am still unable to load Mapopolis. The following message is displayed: INFO Installation Failed. The program or setting cannot be installed because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate. Help !!
Guest [email protected] Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 Hi, well after multiple resets and much hair pulling it's suddenly decided to accept Mapopolis again. Thank goodness for that :D ! Have no idea what combination of frigging about sorted it out. Many thanks for all of your inputs all the same. Cheers! Jase.
Guest [email protected] Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 Aha  ! Well it seems if the Date or Time of a CAB file has changed it will not install properly on the Smartphone. As I keep all my stuff in an archiving program, when I extracted it the date was changed hence the problem. Re-downloading the file allowed it to install with no problem. Hope this is of help to some other people who lost a little hair over these sort of problems! Regards, Jase.
