Guest terry195 Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 How do I send a .doc file as an email attachment from my E200 without it converting to a .psw file? I don't want to view the file, I simply want to send it untouched as it is. The problem is, when I paste a .doc file into my storage (or storage card), the phone automatically converts it thereby ruining some formatting on my document. Cheers, Terry
Guest James Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 wlecome to the site :D can you not zip the file up?
Guest terry195 Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 I could zip it, but I'm not too sure if the people I send the document to have winzip. Is there any other way?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 22, 2004 Report Posted June 22, 2004 Welcome to the site :D In ActivsyncOptionsRules there is a tab to alter conversion settings of files. Moved to Help and Advice
Guest larsdennert Posted July 22, 2004 Report Posted July 22, 2004 You could also rename the file from x.doc to x.do and then copy it to the phone. On the phone use smartexplorer to rename it back. Better yet just rename/save it as x.dot (a word template)
