Guest npw Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 Its me again Just made an alternative to the windows mobile skin I posted earlier this week. It still has the same annoying icon appearing (as it's modified from a Pinoy skin) - CODE IS FROM RANDY NIRVALES. Also still links to the camera which I will prob change to tasks or explorer or something. The pop up windows for inbox and calendar are nice XP ones now. I'll have a look at the xml someone posted for the other skin I changed the graphics for which implemented RJ shortcut and try and get rid of the stupid rogue icon which appears in the top left. Unless someone else wants to do it? Its higher resolution than the other, not highlt compressed files. Again, unzip and place in "application datahome" directoryThe Real XP.zipscreen1.jpgscreen4.jpgscreen3.jpgscreen2.jpg
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 :D Very nice. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 Hi ted :D 1. Download file attachment first (The RealXP.zip) 2. Unzip file (extract contents to PC) 3. Copy folder 'bliss' and file 'blissXP.home.xml' to IPSMApplication DataHome 4. Hit Settings -> Home Screen then choose blissXP in the Home Screen Layout field 5. Click Done when finished.
Guest ethianate Posted July 11, 2004 Report Posted July 11, 2004 It doesn't work! I followed your instructions and I assume I should have a seperate folder called bliss within ISPMApplication DataHome???? I did everything I was supposed to but nothing happened, what's gone wrong???
Guest kurtfhouse Posted July 11, 2004 Report Posted July 11, 2004 Looks nice :D @ethinate You should have the real XP folder AND the realXP xml file in application data/home Hope that makes sense
Guest ethianate Posted July 11, 2004 Report Posted July 11, 2004 You should have the real XP folder AND the realXP xml file in application data/home So you mean I have to create a folder in application datahome called real XP??? the zip file is called the real xp should it be called that? and what about the bliss thing? there is no file called realxp.xml. I dont understand what should go where and why it does'nt work still.
Guest kurtfhouse Posted July 11, 2004 Report Posted July 11, 2004 My bad the xml is called BlissXP.home  put that into the home folder and put the bliss folder into home aswell Then in settings/home you will be able to choose blissXP Sorry about the last post I haven't downloaded this one yet and assumed everything would be labled as realXP (as thats what the themes called) If the xml isnt there it wont appear in your list
Guest elhornet Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Cool skin. Suffers from the original problems the MacOS one had where you can only scroll through 4 icons (I get to Profile then it jumps down to Settings, skipping IE, Camera, MSN etc).. Maybe thats just me and my SPV E200 tho?
Guest HuskerDu Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 When i recieve an sms, the envelope icon appears on the left corner over the Microsoft logo, can you fix that ? I got a Qtek8080 (WM2003). Thanks! :D

Could anyone here download it and look at the .xml file to see if there is something wrong in that?
Guest npw Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 just checked the forum for the first time in ages, didnt realise ppl where having so much trouble with it. i really don't know why it would not work if the bliss xml is in the application datahome directory and all the jpg are in bliss directory, also within the application datahome directory. with the skin being based on pinoy code,it caused me problems to with only being able to scroll down four options, so i altered the clsid codes for the shortcuts which didnt work.so it works on a classic spv (come on c500, where are u ) with rom1.6. thought it would work on all the others but it may need tweaking. its worth it if i do say so myself:-Djust checked the forum for the first time in ages, didnt realise ppl where having so much trouble with it. i really don't know why it would not work if the bliss xml is in the application datahome directory and all the jpg are in bliss directory, also within the application datahome directory. with the skin being based on pinoy code,it caused me problems to with only being able to scroll down four options, so i altered the clsid codes for the shortcuts which didnt work.so it works on a classic spv (come on c500, where are u ) with rom1.6. thought it would work on all the others but it may need tweaking. its worth it if i do say so myself:-D
