Guest toiletboy Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 I'm afraid I deleted the funcion to send MMS with my Motorola MPX200 using activesync. Is there any way to get it back? When i go to programs>inbox>new, i used to be able to select a new MMS. Now i just starts up a SMS-message automatically :D Does anybody know how i can fix this problem?
Guest James Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 well i am on orange so this is for orange:- not sure if the 'MMS account is actully gone... but try this if you can still see it. 1. Go to the SMS folder. 2. Select 'Menu' then 'Options' 3. Select 'Account Setup' 4. Select the 'MMS' Account. 5. Enter Details:- Server: Orange MMS 6. 'Select Done' has that fixed it? if not, try a Hard Reset ...... :D
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 The MPX200 requires the jmms app to enable mms to work, the app can be found on the cd you had with the phone :D Nasty little app as it slows the phone down, especially the Inbox :?
Guest abolden Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 I upgraded to WM2003 and I do have an original CD but I think it only contains Active Sync 3.6 and Outlook 2000. It's called the companion CD. Is this the right software to install MMS on my phone?
Guest mmystery Posted July 13, 2004 Report Posted July 13, 2004 On the original CD, except Active Sync and Outlook, it has also IA photo album and JMMS. the last one, is the program you need to install again on the phone, to get the MMS work! Don't forget after the installation to re-configure the parameters so the MMS service can work properly. Cheers, mmystery :D
