E200 Joystick

The joystick on my e200 doesn't seem to work ..... its only a few months old and sometimes it won't go in any direction and somedays it won't select.... anyone know a way around?

I think you need to send it back.

It's a known fault.

Update on that...... a good smack every so often directly on the joystick "re-aligns" it....... god i love my spv.

still a fault tho, don't you want a phone with a normal joystick? :D

Ring orange and see if they will replace it :D

yeah i might look into it.... you recon they would take away my old one? I could have two.... one to #*!? around with :D..... ooo im looking forward to it already!

I just had mine sent back for exactly the same reason, after awhile the smacking of it will stop it from working again and it will just annoy you.

I phone Orange and said I got a warrenty problem, sign me up for Orange Care and send me a replacement, if your lucky they will send you a replacement that is faulty and then you can scream down the phone at them and they won't charge you for emergency care and you'll just pay your insurance of 5 squid a month, if your not already signed up for it.

Had mine replaced for the same reason.

The courier will give you a new unit minus the battery & SIM. You have to give him the old one. :D

yeah i have orange care...... i want to keep my current phone coz it has no other problems apart from the occasional joystick mess up..... which if you read around this forum is a VERY rare thing.

I'll see if it comes back again then i may take action..... i don't remember nokias being this difficult...... then again i don't remember them being any good either!
