Jumbled characters from O2 text

Hi,

I have an mpx200 and I recently changed my sim from orange to O2. I have found that when O2 send me texts from their company, every one so far has arrived in a jumbled state if you know what I mean - just a text full of random characters making no sense at all. Any idea why this may be happening?

Are the texts from the same person or is that random?

Have you asked O2 to see what they say?

I got that a few times too , the first time was when i was on holiday in Turkey last month. Just random letters (looked like Greek ?? ) but with no spaces between the letters , think i've had it twice since.

O2 aren't much help with anything else so i didn't bother asking.
