Guest jocool Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 Hello i made a Push To Talk Software for SPV E200 written in .NET , the soft is made to record a voice message and send it by mail to a pc (.wav or zipped .wav format) or to another spv (.pvf pushvoice format) i need beta tester please u can download it here :Pushvoice i'd like to have your comments thanks for your help :D jocool Tuto and screenshots : The main menu : you click on record to start ... recording :D when finished you click on stop , the audio file will be compressed you click on Do > Send by mail You choose the audio format, wav or zipped wav for pc , or pushvoice format for another smartphone with pushvoice installed here you type the email to send your voice message or select it in the most recently used email , and you type your email (will appear as sender email ) and you click on the send button that's all  if the receiver email is a pc (or mac or anything else :D ) he will receive an email from you with the wav or zipped wav attached if it's another smartphone, he will receive a .pvf file , once the receiver click on the .pvf in the email, the audio message will be played automatically Nb : I'm really sorry for my bad english :oops:pushvoice.cab
Guest squall Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 nice contrabution. Welcome to the site :D Will try this out over the weekend.
Guest Toyota-F1.com Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 Does this use GPRS? How does it send the message?
Guest jocool Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 Yep it use gprs (or gsm if u dont have gprs) to send the messages
Guest kalantz Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 Very nice app!!! However you should make some changes regarding how the e-mail arrives to the recepient. The user of this app should be able to enter his name, e-mail address or phone number in order to be clear to the recepient that this is not a spam mail. Thanks kalantz
Guest jocool Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 kalantz you'r right i'm adding it right now ( config menu to set your email that will appear as sender email ) thanks :D
Guest jocool Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 k i just put a new version with sender email support , uninstall your current version , redownload and install the new one, if u have an idea for a new function , i'll be happy to add it :D jocool
Guest HKBoySiR Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 I think this is a really cool app. I think what might be useful would be a MRU list of contacts that you can scroll through (like the last 5 used or something) in the "to" e-mail field. Great job!! :-)
Guest jocool Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 ok HKBoySiR, i added MRU :D uninstall your current version , redownload and install the new one thanks for your comments :D jocool

On the contrary, I think this is a great app and I think it would do better once a few of the kinks have been fixed! (eg. having a difficult time navigating between the fields on the email page) Thanks again for also adding the MRU feature.

Guest Disco Stu Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 It's not working for me :D It installed ok and the program seems to be working. I'm sending from my orange.net account to my aol account. When I'm on the "Send by Email" page the Status is "Waiting email input" and when I've entered the respective addresses I click Send. I get "Currently Sending" then "Sent" and then exit. After that I would expect an email in my Outbox waiting for me to Send & Receive but there's nothing. I've sent email anyway but nothing has come to my aol account. Any suggestions ?
Guest James Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 i think it actually just sends the file! i get GPRS activity but i dont get any e-mial as yet.... waiting :D
