E200 Questions

Hi,

I've had my SPV E200 for about four or five months now, and besides changing the homescreen, I haven't really played about too much with it.

There seems to be alot of things you can do with it that the phone doesn't give you the option to do. For example, I wanted to set a wav file as a ringtone, but the phone doesn't give you the option to use anything stored in My Documents. I realised today that if I put it in the Application Data/Sounds folder then I can use them from there. Is there any other interesting things like this you can do?

I'm also a bit disappointed that I can't send photos or other files using Bluetooth or IR. It also doesn't accept anyone sending me files using Bluetooth. Is there a way around this? Alot of my friends have different photo phones and it would be good to be able to swap photos and videos with each other.

I've heard about an update for the E200 too, how/where do I get this and what does it do?

If anyone can point me in some new directions for things I can do to get more out of my phone, I'd be very grateful.

Hello m8! Welcome to modaco - you'll find everything you needed to know about your smartphone but were afraidf to ask ... here! :D

The answers to your questions are too varied to go into in detail, but essentially, you will find a great deal of tweaks, apps etc in these forums by using the search function. It'll save you waiting for someone to reply, & it may bring up other things of interest, so we try to encourage people to use this function as much as possible!

The e200 update is available HERE, however, read the relevant posts first! There have been several severe problems caused by this update, & my advice is if you are happy with the call quality of your e200 atr present, then don't bother with the update! But read the posts, and you can decide for yourself.

For your other questions, search the forums, read the posts ... you'll probably find more that way than you need. & if you don't, let us know! :wink:

Smart Explorer by www.binarys.com (also look out for their

Task Manager).
