Guest hotphil Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 Got any example pics? Are they by any chance all taken indoors under flourescent lighting?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 afroahmed you discussed this a while ago here just before you bought your camera :? http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=109525 This also gives a reason to why the haze is there and a few example pictures.
Guest afroahmed Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 i know but i was seeing if anyone had an fixes as yet. UPDATE >>> IT TURNS OUT IT IS A SOFTWARE ISSUE DONT TAKE UR CAMERA APART!!!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 Erm no it's not as we discussed on irc :D it'a a lens problem 8)
Guest afroahmed Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 well beersoft seemed to think otherwise, well i think it woz beersoft
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 Beery did explain that in zoom mode the problem disappears, this is because only the center of the image is being used and not the outer edge. As the camera uses a software zoom and not hardware you do not see the effect as you are not using the outer perimeter of the lens where the problem lies.
