i have have some large pictures on my e100 and i cant get them to view in full size. they also view in portraite and not landscape. this happens wen i open them in smart explorer. i tried to open them in picture manager but a red x appears. maybe this is because the image is about 1000 by 600 in size. can anyone help me solve this problem if there is a solution?

i'd be interested in this.

i do use the spv cam but sometimes use my digital camera for bigger / better pix, or i've forgotten the spv cam. i cant be bothered buying another sdcard for it so i use the phone's & swap it over. folders are created & the files are viewable in smart explorer - but the pix are too big. occasionally i can get one of them to show but it takes time.

however (slightly off topic) the files can be sent somewhere as email... very handy!

in multimedia album, you can press the joystick to switch between scroll and zoom (litle graphic bottom left shows arrows for zoom and a box for scroll!) and press 1 or 3 to rotate and press 6 to view full screen

There are numerous picture viewers for the phone, try the demos.

Have a look for IA Album and resco Picture viewer on

Assuming they're standard JPG's, Pocket Explorer should be able to view (But not rotate or zoom). to make sure it shows them full-size, go into Menu, Options, General and de-tick (Deselect) Fit to screen.

Not the best solution maybe, but probably one off the cheapest...

Edit: If you click on this link http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=110713 you'll find a freeware app someone has made for Smartphone 2002 OS. Its still Beta and I haven't personally tested it, but its worth a look
