Speaker on E200 is quiet during phonecalls?

Hi there :D

Is there anyway of making the speaker louder during my phonecalls? The callers voice seems to be alot quieter when compared to my previous phones :?

The earpeice volume is already on its maximum :lol:

the most recent update reduces the call volume (im guessing you have that installed) It was a fix for the low call quality before the update.

To check your rom version look in porgrams / settings / about latest rom is 2.6

I got the phone from Orange with the latest update, the ROM version is 2.6.1.3 :D

I hope there would be a new update that can fix it :D

we can live in hope, but to be honest i dont think there will be. Decreasing the gain of the signal going to the speaker made the signal less distorted. Increasing the gain - hence increasing the volume will lead to a distorted signal again. :?

a nice little trick is to hold down the 'green button' to activate speakerphone mode, it's pretty useful in clubs where there's loud music.
