The New I-Mate Rom...

Hey all,

So I instlled the new i-mate rom on my E200 the other day...first impressions...awesome - i finally got mms working perfectly on O2!!! :D/

Two things tho:

1) For some reason im stuck in car profile...i aint got a car kit :roll:

2) Internet no longer works on O2 :?

I know what the problm with the internet is: Basically when you add the GPRS setting for O2 you set it to connect to "The Internet". Then in Data Connections you set Wap Network to connect to that setting and you set IE to connect to Wap Network with the auto detect box unticked. This you can do fine wth the Orange rom. However, wth the new imate rom, the Data Connections wont let you select the internet connecting GPRS setting in the wap network dialog so you cant get it to work. :cry:

I noticed on the i-mate site that they have public downloads for a couple of operator settings so im gonna try and replicate the actions of those cab's for O2...which should make life a tad easer after a hard reset. :D

Anyway, has anyone else had these problems? I know there was a hardware flaw in the orginal spvs whch caused them to stick in Headset profile so the Car profile problem may have a simlar fix...but atm it dont look that way. :lol:
