Guest ppmnt Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Which would you recommend? Which do you think is better and why? Thanks!
Guest mowog Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 For me it has to be repligo. I have been using it for my Palm for many, many months. I have files on my T3 that I have been able to pull across to my E200 and view from there. Conversion is easy and with such a large number of formats to convert from including the standard office products, as well as pdfs, web etc Repligo has to be the choice...... The only thing I dislike, I wish I had an option to send a converted file to either T3 or E200.
Guest tcwatkins Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Repligo without a doubt. You can bookmark your documents in Repligo, which helps a lot with books. Plus the flowed function is wonderful. It ignores, more or less, the page view concept and just flows the text so it is easier and faster to read.
Guest roozbeh Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 yes the flow mode is perfect....and for sure is the best thing!! the only problem it got is for right to left texts....it flow them incorrectly :D(
Guest ppmnt Posted June 28, 2004 Report Posted June 28, 2004 Thanks all for your replies, looks like RepliGo wins by far. So far I've only tried ClearView. I'll have to do some cleanup and install RepliGo. Do you find it a hassle that you have to convert all your documents though?
Guest roozbeh Posted June 29, 2004 Report Posted June 29, 2004 no... but i see quality of some big pages converted is really poor....it compress them alot! so i converted them to pdf.....no... but i see quality of some big pages converted is really poor....it compress them alot! so i converted them to pdf.....
Guest TANKERx Posted July 1, 2004 Report Posted July 1, 2004 I find Repligo to be fantastic! If I open a document, or even see a web page I want to read later, I slap in my Smartphone, print the document to the Repligo printer and hey presto! It's on my Smartphone! It's absolutely top!
Guest ppmnt Posted July 1, 2004 Report Posted July 1, 2004 Thanks guys. I'm trying out Repligo right now and I have to agree, it's pretty cool.
Guest ustguitarista Posted July 3, 2004 Report Posted July 3, 2004 yeah, repligo is better for viewing (though i have tried version 1.0 only), but then i still need to install clearvue on my SPV because it supports office documents without conversion, so that whenever i receive an email on my phone with office documents attached, i could view it right away. :D
